* Any non-native speaker of English must document English language proficiency by meeting one of the following requirements:

Twenty-four transfer hours from an accredited post secondary institution in the United States that includes 3 hours of English Composition equivalent to Pittsburg State University English Composition 101 with a grade of "C" or better.
Graduation from an accredited high school in the United States.
Achieve at least a 21 ACT composite score/980 SAT.
Minimum score on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) of 68 (internet based), 520 (paper based) or 190 (computer based).
Completion of the Intensive English Program Academic Preparation Class at Pittsburg State University (IEP).
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) overall band score 6 with a minimum score on each band of 5.5.
