Programming Project Requests -- Regular Support and Maintenance
April 19, 2001

REGULAR SUPPORT

Programming projects internal priority should be used for those things that we have to do on a yearly, semester, or whatever regular basis for our clients. Examples would be: Archiving records, processing 1098t stuff, grades, yearly financial aid changes, requesting and setting up new budget files for the year, etc. This will enable us to track how much time we spend on these kinds of projects. Also, if one of us wins the lottery and doesn't show up some day, others of the staff could look at that person's "Regular Maintenance" stuff to see what kinds of things, length of time to do them, when they were needed, etc., they need to consider.

Remember, NEW requests are NEW. This is for the stuff that comes around just like April 15th every year.
